With our STARTUP CONSULTING SERVICE, our experts will support you through the on-going development of your new cannabis venture. The J. Whitney Group serves are your trusted friend and helping hand throughout the startup process. We provide you with the industry insights and technical expertise to plan and launch a successful and compliant dispensary, production or cultivation facility. We advise on resources to use, assist in selecting vendors, provide insights on best practices and advise on creating the next steps on the journey of sustainable growth.
This service is provided on a monthly retainer basis. You decide how many hours of JWG time you want on your side per month. 3 month minimum.
Option 1: 5 – 10 hours per month
Option 2: 10 – 15 hours per month
Option 3: Custom set monthly hourly reserve
Our STARTUP CONSULTING SERVICE is performed on a monthly retainer basis and the duration varies depending upon the type of cannabis business and the size of your operation. We will stay on for as long as you need, supporting you throughout the startup process.

The J. Whitney Group serves as a trusted friend to utilize our experience and expertise of the cannabis industry to help you during the start up process of planning and launching a successful cannabis business.
During the duration of our partnership, you may choose to utilize your monthly hours for:
ADVISORY CALLS: Advisory calls can be used with you and JWG Consultant directly, or anyone you wish JWG to speak with such as vendors, business partners, etc. During these calls, our consultants will provide feedback, answer any questions and provide possible points of action for your next step.
E-MAILS: Back-and-forth emails with you and JWG Consultant, or back-and-forth emails with JWG Consultant and third parties as requested by you. During these e-mails, our consultants will provide feedback, answer any questions and provide possible points of action for your next step.
IN-PERSON MEETINGS: An in-office meeting with you and our consultant at JWG office, or any meeting in which a JWG Consultant is present.
ON-SITE VISITS: This could be to conduct a site-visit at your location, meet with vendors, assist in employee on-boarding, etc..
OUT OF STATE VISITS: For out of state clients, JWG will come to you! [+travel & expenses]
